In 2022, the House of Paz’s request for a foreclosure on the property goes to court. After Cecília testifies, Luíza and Gui move to block her from accessing Paz’s bank accounts, as they believe she’s turned against the family business. In 1922, Paz learns the truth about Bertha — she also comes from the future. Before escaping, Bertha leaves a box with Anika and warns Paz about Maurício.
